Volunteer Information Sheet:

Purpose: The purpose of the volunteer committee is to keep a list of those people who are interested in assisting Al Khamsa Inc in various capacities and on various projects. The information collected will include contact information, skills and interests. The committee will also take requests from board members for various needs for volunteers. Matches for volunteers and the need for volunteers will be coordinated from this committee. The goal of the committee is to make sure that the work of Al Khamsa can be accomplished in a timely manner without over-burdening board members. Another outcome of this will be to give others a chance to contribute in ways they can and make them feel more a part of the organization.

Volunteer Information Sheet:
There are always projects going on with Al Khamsa Inc that can use volunteers.  Thanks to the advent of the Internet and other technologies, we can take advantage of people all over the country.  And boy, when you volunteer, there are lots of ways we can "take advantage" of you.  Thank you in advance for your willingness to help in the administrative end of the preservation of the desert horses.

Some areas that we expect to need assistance are:  AKAIII Re-formatting, Roster, New AK Fundraising, Advertising, AK magazine, Proof Reading Newsletter, Solicitations.
