Farewell Rajeer RSI
In the morning of the 14th of July, 2007, the chestnut stallion, Rajeer RSI (Raj RSI x Monieta RSI) passed on to a higher plane and although he did not leave us any babies he did grace us with his presence for nearly six years. We came to love his alert expressions and his gentle kindness. May he be always surrounded by gentle mares...
Adieu dear friend...

Show News from Nasheeta Arabians!
Manara Samira (Manara Massud x Matara Saafana) participated at the Egyptian Event in Brecht. We competed at Native Costume and Most Classic Head. We achieved 2nd place in Native Costume and came in last for Most Classic Head. Samira was ridden bareback by a teenage girl. 'Sam' was never shown before, but she behaved perfectly. Everybody loved her, even the ring stewards! Too bad the judges placed her last, they did not seem to appreciate her classic head or her perfect behaviour in Native Costume. The pair was also dressed up very authentic with real, handmade clothes from Morocco, which we loaned from Moroccan women. The dress is used with festivities. The headstall is from Egypt. We're still very proud of rider Alma Tiggelman and our Samira.

Shay de Farm would like to share the good news and announce the arrival of two new foals!
Bint Belle Echo (Mahroufs Image x Matara Belle Echo) had a handsome baby boy this morning and baby and Mom are doing fine. Don't know about Dad, Fadrian CMC (Faydin x Fay Abba), this birthing thing is hard on him. Du Fadl Sham, pending, is getting this walking down pretty good and sure knows where lunch is served.

DU Nasrs Belle (Matara Sherif x Dhar Kheroufa) gave me a Mother's Day present at 10:00 in the morning the prettiest chestnut colt (wanted a filly) Mother and Baby are doing fine. Fadrian CMC is a proud Papa. All foals are born and I can keep my nerves under control.

Sport News from Nasheeta Arabians!
Manara Samira (Manara Massud x Matara Saafana) finished a distance ride successfully in the Dutch mountains. It was the only mountain ride in Holland and there was lots of steep climbing and trotting down the hill involved. She did it very well and we're proud of her improving abilities.

Mountain Spring Farm welcomes two new additions to an endangered strain family within Al Khamsa Arabians!
MSF Amira Habib (MSF Sheikh Habib x IMF Badia Nafila) has a beautiful filly, foaled March 1, 2007, sired by Black Straight Babson Egyptian stallion, BW Fadl Tali (Faydin x Bint Fadl Starr). This is Amira's 3rd filly out of 3 foals, with the last 2 surviving, both sired by Tali.
MSF Nefertiti (MSF Sheikh Habib x MSF Rawa by Kahream) has a regal and handsome colt foaled March 21, 2007, sired by Black Straight Babson Egyptian stallion, BW Fadl Tali (Faydin x Bint Fadl Starr). This is Nefertiti's 2nd colt out of 2 foals, both sired by Tali. We hope she will bless us with a filly the next time, as she is the only replacement for her dam, MSF Rawa, at this time.
This is the Hamdani Simri strain family descending from SELMA I-Egypt (Abbas Pasha) of which there are less than 20 horses remaining worldwide in Al Khamsa Arabians, as of March 21, 2007. We are searching to find individuals to help in this preservation, so please inquire about any of these horses.

Sport News from Nasheeta Arabians!
Manara Samira (Manara Massud x Matara Saafana) placed 17th out of 30 starters at a Belgian distance ride of 30kms. She finished with a pulse of HF - which is very good! - and moved very well at the trot-up so that she did not get any penalty points from the vet. With a speed of 12kms/hour she worked very well for such a tiny horse. We're proud of her!
