Co., Inc., Ames, Iowa, 1969; reprinted in its entirety in two volumes in larger page format by Esperanza Raswan, 1990. The Index is arranged like a dictionary of Arabian horses, with material gathered from thousands of notes, cards and photographs accumulated in over 30 years of travel. It can be used to trace the pedigrees of many Arabian horses beyond American stud books to Europe and the desert. This is not a simple source, but it is worthwhile to own and study it.
